Angel Ninov (1927 – 2017)
He was born in 1927 in the town of Krivodol, Vratsa region.
A member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists, established with many solo and joint exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad.
The author “captures” nature emotionally and frankly, with poetic sensitivity.
His impressively romantic landscapes from old Sofia and from beautiful corners of the Bulgarian land are impressive.
Biser Lazarov
Biser Lazarov was born in 1963 in the village of Mokresh, Lomsko. He graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia in 1989. He holds a PhD in art history and fine arts. He now teaches and creates paintings. With his generous palette, he invariably conveys in his canvases the feeling of freedom, the free cry, his bohemian essence.
Daniela Hadjieva
Daniela Hadzhieva was born in Varna, but lives and works in Sofia. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, has had many solo exhibitions and participated in international exhibitions in London, Istanbul and Athens. Chosen to represent Bulgaria at the UNESCO International Art Meeting in Malta in 2017, she worked there on the theme “Bridges between Nations and Cultures”. UNESCO presented her works at several exhibitions in Malta and Brussels and awarded her an honorary diploma as an artist for peace and unification of cultures. Skillfully interweaving iconography and secession, the author inspires lightness and dynamism in her images. Her silent, angelic images push the viewer towards humane reflections…
Dianka Todorova
Dianka Todorova was born in 1959 in the town of Gorna Oryahovitsa. In 1982 she graduated from the “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” University of Fine Arts. She is the author of 9 solo exhibitions in Sofia, Pleven and Stara Zagora. Her works are in private galleries and collections in Austria, Belgium, Germany, the USA, Switzerland. The works presented by her in the “Noah” gallery are a synthesis between the modern and the real.
Dona Zlatanova
Donna Zlatanova has chosen visual arts as her calling. In the “Noah” gallery she presents herself with paintings on silk. “…not just paintings painted on silk, but the colors of a world, to which Donna issues a special pass to those who wish. Galina Levashka
Galina Levashka is a young painter who looks and presents creative individuality and could be remembered with her specific style. Her ideas are interpreted on the canvases in a fairy and poetic way. The forms are decorative and the color is intensive and rich which gives unique wonder and purity to her paintings. Her style is expressive, playful and colourful, close to magical realism in combination with folklore elements.
Gencho Denchev /1932-2018/
Gencho Denchev was born in 1932 in Sofia. In 1956 he graduated from the Academy of Arts in Sofia, majoring in Painting. He has had over 50 solo exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. He won awards from the Union of Bulgarian Artists for nudes and portraits. He improved his painting skills under Nenko Balkanski, Iliya Petrov and Iliya Beshkov. Works by Gencho Denchev are owned by the National Art Gallery, the Sofia Art Gallery and a number of art galleries in the country and abroad.
Ivan Dodov
Ivan Dodov is inextricably linked to nature, light and fleeting moments. His landscapes capture not just places, but states of mind – morning fog, a glimmer of water, autumn glow or quiet winter music… He was born in Sofia in 1960. Born in 1972 in the town of Lovetch. Graduated the High School of Arts in Lovetch in 1990. Following numerous appearances in Bulgaria and abroad he has been working intensively since 2002 with PICTOR Gallery in Meinz, Germany.
Kiril Bozhkilov
Kiril Bozhkilov (born 1949 in Sandansky) works in the fields of satirical drawing, caricature and naif painting. His colorful artworks radiate joy which makes the day look happier. He is a regular participant in national and international exhibitions and plein-airs of caricature and painting. His artworks may be found in the collection of the world’s biggest House of Humor and Satire in Gabrovo and in numerous private galleries in Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, England, France, Germany, USA, Korea. His colorful canvases adorn the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian Embassies in Bulgaria, the National Palace of Culture, the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The artist is a regular participant in the exhibition-contest “Umuri Shimbun” – Tokio, as well as in plein-airs. Held numerous one-man shows in Bulgaria – in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Blagoevgrad, and one in Poland. Obtained many awards: 1986, Pernik, Second Prize in Caricature; 2000, Sofia, First Prize for Painting and Satire; 2001, Istanbul, Turkey, First Prize; 2003, Strumitsa, Macedonia.

Born on 15th May 1964. Graduated from the Secondary School of Arts in 1983 and from the National Academy of Arts in 1991. A Professor at the NAA, department of Painting. Lyubomir Arnaudov /1964-2025/
Born on 18th January 1964 in Sofia. In 1982 graduated from the Technical School of Ceramics and Glass – Sofia, major “Decoration”. He has worked in the fields of icon painting and fine arts – painting, drawing, aquarelle. In Noe Gallery he is presented by landscapes in oil. His artworks are owned by connoisseurs from Bulgaria, Norway, Great Britain, USA, Japan, Russia.
Mihail Valkanov
Mihail Valkanov was born on August 12, 1950 in Sofia, where he received his art education. He works in various fields such as caricature, graphics, painting and design for newspapers and magazines. As a cartoonist, he worked in the newspaper “Storm”. He participated in many exhibitions and biennials in our country and abroad – Canada, Turkey, Belgium, Greece, Yugoslavia, Japan, Italy. In Marostica (Italy) in 1982 he won third prize. He held his solo caricature exhibition in 1981. He reflects his philosophical attitude to life in his graphics. His drawings and graphics are owned by collectors from Sweden, Belgium, France, etc. He became a member of the Union of Artists in 1990. In 1991 he had his solo graphic exhibition. Painting is his last passion. His realistic landscapes touch even the most sensitive part of the human soul. His new explorations in painting prove once again that this artist has mastered the material to perfection and is not afraid of a challenge. He held a solo exhibition in 2007 in Sofia. His works adorn many homes in the USA, Germany, Great Britain, etc.
Olya Telalim
Olya Telalim was born in Sofia on July 5, 2005. She studied Book and Print Graphics at the National Academy of Arts, mainly working with watercolor, creating ethereal natural scenes.In 2024, she graduated from the National School of Fine Arts “Ilia Petrov” (Sofia), with a diploma thesis – illustrations for Ray Bradbury’s stories.Participation in competitions and exhibitions.
Paola Stoeva
She was born on July 12, 1968. She graduated from painting at the First Private Academy “Jules Paskin” with Nikolay Maistorov and Ognyan Tsekov. In 2002–2003, Paola was ranked among the first in competitions held in the Czech Republic. She participated in 4 general exhibitions and presented 2 solo exhibitions. The expressive nature of the artist is strongly evident in the paintings she exhibited at the “Noah” gallery – watercolors mainly with flowers, nudes, seascapes and those with motifs from the Bulgarian Renaissance architecture.
Petya Deneva
She was born in 1981 in Balchik.
She graduated from the National School of Arts “Dobri Hristov” in Varna, and later – the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, majoring in painting with a master’s degree.
Petya Deneva’s painting is poetic, delicate, bright and ethereal. Her works have been presented in more than twenty exhibitions in Bulgaria, Poland, Slovakia, Macedonia, Greece, Turkey, etc. In 2004 she received first prize from a national competition for young artists, curators and critics of the International Foundation “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, and in 2002 – a one-year scholarship from the “Raina Kabaivanska” Foundation. She has been a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 2010. In 2014 she was awarded a two-month stay at the Cite internationale des arts, Paris.

Plamen Stoev
Born in 1979 in Veliko Tarnovo. 1998 graduated from Hogh School “V. Grancharov” Gorna Oryahovitsa, class “Fine Arts”. 2002 graduated from VTU “St. Kiril and Metodii”, department “Fine Arts”, major “Painting”. Five one-man shows. Participated in general exhibitions and biennials in Bulgaria and Italy.
Sava Tzonovski
Sava Tsonovski was born in 1925 in the village of Botevo, Vratsa region. In 1955 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts with Prof. Iliya Petrov. He has had over ten solo exhibitions, the last of which was at the Union of Bulgarian Artists, Sofia, celebrating his 100th anniversary. The artist mainly works in watercolor landscapes. “There is no greater artist than nature. She always surprises us with new forms and colors.”. “When is a painting made? – when I feel a mood, light, movement in it. If it is winter, let the snow fall, if there is water – let it flow, if there are clouds – let them float…”
Sasho Kostov /1954-2021/
The artist, born in the town of Belogradchik, lived and worked in the city of Sofia.
He is a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
He has had solo exhibitions in Sofia and Ruse in Bulgaria, as well as in Heidelberg – Germany, Antalya – Turkey and Luxembourg.
With images of the border between the real and the unreal, Sasho Kostov’s paintings give us a sense of poetry, music and the power of the free spirit.
Stanka (Tanya) Atanasova

Valerii Yanchev
Valeriy Yanchev, born on March 18, 1958, graduated from the Faculty of Cultural Studies at the Sofia University “Kliment Ohridski”. He works in the field of landscape, mainly on themes of old Sofia, monastery landscapes and Renaissance architecture. He has appeared in many general exhibitions, and after 2003 in many solo exhibitions, one of which – in the National Assembly in 2012. His paintings are in collections in Bulgaria, Germany, Russia, India, etc.
Vanya Krasteva
Born in 1980 in Gorna Oryahovitsa.
In 2004, she graduated from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, majoring in Painting, earning a Bachelor’s degree.
In 2006, she completed a Master’s degree in Painting at the National Academy of Arts, in the studio of Academician Svetlin Rusev, under the guidance of Prof. Ivaylo Mirchev and Prof. Desislava Mincheva.
Vasil Kozarov /1937-2004/
He was born in 1937 in Sofia.
His love for the sea and the marine element pushed him towards the genre of marinism. In the seventies and eighties of the last century, he presented his works with a marine theme in several solo and collective exhibitions.
Through lights and shadows in the tonal and compositional construction of the landscape, the artist corrects traditional ideas about the sea. He presents us with a sea that lives in the author’s imagination, with its natural forms, but also with its hidden beauty and charm.
Venera Konstantinova
Venera Konstantinova graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring in “Mural Painting” in 1978.
Later she was the chief artist of the city of Vratsa, a specialist in the “Architecture” department at the Bulgarian Academy of Arts, and now – secretary of the “Monumental Arts” section at the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
She participated in exhibitions – painting in Japan, the Netherlands, France, Germany, as well as in Sofia, where her solo exhibition “The Window…the Apple” was held in 1999 at the “Shipka” Gallery 6, and later she held exhibitions in other Sofia galleries.
She works in the field of stained glass, mural painting and oil painting. Her paintings are in private collections and homes around the world and in our country.
She lives and works in Sofia.
Vladimir Shunev
Vladimir Shunev was born in 1961 in the town of Dupnitsa. In 1987 he graduated from the University of Mining and Geology, Sofia. Freelance artist since 1990. Member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists since 1992. Winner of the painting award from the Regional Exhibition “Struma-95”, Bulgaria, and the painting award from the International Painting Symposium “Alley-2002”, Lebanon. For many years he has lived and worked in the town of Kyustendil.
