…Anyone who comes close to Shani will feel his dedication to art as a creative process, with which he expresses all his thoughts and emotions… His restless spirit makes him constantly experiment, looking for new and new means of expression, and yet, the amazing thing is that we will always feel the thin, ethereal Armenian fingers that build Shani’s style. This means a worldview in which, as in a fairy-tale mirror, the entire rich soul of Shani is reflected. There we will find both philosophical sociability, and amusing satire and sarcasm, and also gentle lyricism. – Ivan Kutuzov
